There will be a fun ride at Jack's Peak CDT trailhead this Saturday at 10:30 am.  We will ride south (not up the mountain) and make sort of a lollipop shape ride of fewer than 9 miles.  

 

For the horse---shoes or boots.

For you----snack and a drink.

 

Take New Mexico state route 90 south of Silver City approximately 20 miles.The trail head is on the right side and marked CDT.

 

The riding surface is both sandy and rocky with some mild elevation gains and descents.
